PVC pressure pipe and fittings are used in outside cold water pressure applications. SCH 40 is used in applications, such as irrigation, underground residential sprinkler systems, water service pipe, deionized water lines, swimming pool installations and some chemical drainage systems. SCH 80 fittings are used with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, chemical drainage and other high pressure fluid applications.
